Fantastic uchi-mata, so unexpected grips for it and what an effect, the opponent litterally flies…a masterpiece…
is not ipon becose the corian teke the hand
in kimikata
Ignoring the aberrant english you shamelessly found courage to write (you could at least have checked some word spelling by reading other comments on this site…)…I do confirm it’s an extraordinary ippon.
First of all because it’s the hand taken, as you pointed out, not the wrist, so it means that both are gripping, otherwise the hands would separate (gripping at the wrist is prohibited if prolonged or used for throwing, because it prevents the opponent from gripping, but mutually gripping hands for brief instants is part of bare handed fighting, and allowed in judo).
Second of all this grip is instantly followed by throw, so trying to apply the rules negating the ippon would be a nonsense and a terrible loss for every judoka, just like me…
Check the WC final of -86Kg in 1997, Ki-Young Jeon throws for ippon holding the very short sleeve of Marko Spittka’s gi. Should that be considered an invalid throw, too?…
Oh, I almost forgot, could you please stop posting comments?
I’ve read some other of yours, and really, you should just watch the videos…
Thanks…
Let’s not belittle people’s points of view. Everyone’s got the right to express their own opinion, even if it’s not in perfect English.
Brushing aside people’s comments is not a judo-like attitude. You are not only a judoka on the mat. Judo is a way of life.
Bottom line : nice Uchi-Mata by Ki-Chun Wang, nice ippon.
Sorry for the improper English ;)
Peace
…”Brushing aside people’s comments is not a judo-like attitude (!!!). You are not only a judoka on the mat. Judo is a way of life (!!!!!!)”…
……
…Jigoro Kano would be proud of you…and Master Yoda too! Not to mention Mr Miyagi, you know? Karate kid, the little japanese master…come on, you surely remember, and for what you know, this oriental stuff must be all the same to you…
…another one who read about “judo” on wikipedia…
:) Dude is funny.
You know everything, you are the best. Happy?
I guess you are world-class judoka, with multiple Olympic and world championship titles… Let me type your name on the search area to see if you are part of the Famous Judo Legends… One never knows.
;) I learned judo on Wiki… could be… You learn judo on Judovision. Same business … lol ;)
