You don’t even know the techniques, the both of you…it’s yoko-otoshi.

This example shows how judo has been distorted all these years, and as soon as the athletes are forced to perform proper technique again, judo immediately comes back to life, in all it’s effectiveness. Truth is it’s been there the whole time, just his principles and original forms were put aside in favor of so-colled rewarding techniques.

Let us hope to see this more and more in the next future…

It is very unfortunate that IJF is trying to eliminate te-guruma and kate-guruma as well as other pick-up techniques. I just don’t understand how this would make judo more exciting to watch and/or practice. Terrible mistake!

you don;t need to grab the leg to do kata guruma, unless your entry and/or pull is off. look at greco roman guys

I can’t agree with “Gadavlia90Kg”…although I kinda understand what he means, it’s pretty sick to post a comment on JUDOVISION, using GREEK-ROMAN style as an example, and having as nickname the gadavlia, a russian SAMBO technique (something like a knee-guruma, the lift is similar to hiza-guruma, but the knee lifts at the thigh)…

Choose a religion, you indecisive human being…
