Works fine here..
tam bilo wazari.
s ipponom pogorechilis
good technique, but only worth waza-ari i’d say.
there’s no ippon here.. it’s a waza-ari.
these guys know each other so well.
tremendous surprise… Iliadis is out.
why shido xexe referre has no idea about judo!no chance for ippon minimum yuko
yuko wazari no chance for ippon
TSIREKIDZE Irakli (GEO) vs PERSHIN Ivan (RUS)
Given the current tension between Russia and Georgia, this semi-final contest is gonna be Terrific!!!!!
Hope Judovision will post the video.
crappy referre there is only yuko :-(
damn izumi is out thats real crappy (japan fighters rock )
no ippon, please put this ref retired Raswan must not ref olympics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

minimum yuko.
It’s ridiculous to say things like that about referees, ans particularly about this one: M.Rashwan was olympic medalist a few years ago… and you?
The problem here is, what’s the difference between waza and ippon? It has to be 50 percent of Iliadis’ back against the mat to give ippon! Perhaps or perhaps not…difficult to say. My own idea? Waza, but i will never say that Mohammed Rashwan does’nt know judo… I saw against Verichev, Saito, etc… a great egyptian champion!!! A belgian judoka!
It s not ippon and referee was wrong, even he is olympic medalist… But anything can happen and my personal opinion is that Mark Huizinga control the match.
it is was wazari. they are good judokas, but tsirekidze is the best
wazari
Ippon!
Most of you pay attention only a moment after the impact when Illiades sits on his bottom. Look closely at the first moment of impact – he touches ground with his back and bottom, only then sits back.
…could be waza-ari as well, though.
The referee was not good. It should have been Waza ari on he the throw. The referee ends way too quick when Huizinga wanted to do some groundwork.
I don’t mind the ref’s deicision to go with ippon. What I found most unfortunate was that he didn’t let the fighters (specially Huizinga) fight in on the ground. I think twice Huizinga showed some signs of being upset and I agree. He was controlling and progressing on the ground in my opinion and the ref should let just a bit more time. In particular when you know what Huizinga can do on the ground, you know he’s not sitting aroung just to gain time on the clock.
what a weak call. That was a wazari at best. The calls they make these days are shit.
ippon or no ippon, if it was a wazari, and with just less than one minute to go, the dutch guy would have won the fight too, he is wise and old enough (4th olympics) to win the game with a wazari on the board.
however, its too bad that both guys didnt came further…
looking forward to tomorrow, when the other european champion from the netherlands, henk grol, will play…
cheers
Never ippon. Maximum yuko
No Ippon…. only this should be final match… no first round…
that is a cleary yuko!!!
Mr Alex go to watch the 66 men final and understand why ref Rashwan is NOT a good ref.A bad call is a bad call, even if is God in person is refering
Es wazari.
yea.. that was so a wazari for sure.. yuko is too low.. anyways.. the match is really boring they were called for it though… a lot of force and very little technique.
I did not like the ippon but I fought guys that big before and he is probably strong has good technique.. but I just don’t happen to like the style of his judo.
personal comment of course.
waza ari, at best.
What was a yuko 20 years ago is now ippon!!!! Newaza seems to no longer exist. What is happening to Judo???? Where has the technique gone??? This just makes me want to tap out.
No Ippon =\
i am wondering my friend alex, where did you see his back down. so many people say that wasn’t ippon but you, believe your mind. and lets not forget his personal drama with his family. as you all know he is from georgia and 5.000 people have killed. its very hard to fight after all.
I’ can’t see anything
its yuko
very subjective but i dont think this was an ippon
I don’t want to speak about the ippon or not, I just want to say that all the favoties have lost, iliadis, huzinga but izumi too
thierry
My opinion is no shido at first because there was a throwing action, and of course no ippon but the maximum wazari.
Mr Rashwan was a great player but he needs a lot of work to be olympic ref
why shido first of all to iliades??? he hold the belt no less than 4 seconds and he throw….ok,, and then he try again with another one!! where is mark? where his effort to throw? to make an attack… thats why iliades open his match and try to throw him,,.so the rest if tits yuko or ippon does not matter. ref destroy the match..and if somebody is a good athlete does not mean tha he is a good ref.. or a good trainer!!! athelte is an athlete and ref is a ref!!! iliades is much more better athlete and never mind because mark won..
never mind the score.
point to take from this for Lliadis (and us),
is not to take kumi kata over the shoulder with such a tall and long opponent.
as soon as he stretched over his reach and center of gravity(ma-ay)Mark sensed it and moved nicely.
anyway this is very nice judo.
I thought Iliadis is gonna be the Olympic Champion. We gotta admit that LUCK has become an essential element, particularly in Judo. The refs will KO you before your opponent can solidly land you on the tatami. I hope to see Iliadis in the next Olympics.
technique against strong, wins thechnique. congratulations Huizinga
I have a question?? why didn’ t the two other ref. interfer to cancel the ippon and make it wazari or even yuko….??Seems that the three of them are quite sure that it was an ippon and therefore M.Rashwan made the right decision, right??
Je me demandais pourquoi les deux autres arbitres n’ ont rien dit a la decision prise par M.Rashwan, ils peuvent lui demander quand meme d’annuler, non??
they could be in the final. it is pity they met so early.
refferes is pidaras.. no one shido no two shido to iliadis……
Not ippon at all… i’d say that is waza-ari, but could be even a Yuko.
KAROCE JARJI DEDIS MTYNELIA RA NADIRIA NADIRI
NO IPPON HERE……………………………………….!
Check how ilias kills the winner of -100kg in:2008 Super World Cup Paris-Bercy (TIVP)
[-100kg] Naidan Tuvshinbayar (MGL) – Ilias Iliadis (GRE).Only a referre can stop him…

Old Judoka Pat. You are in the certain thing. The evaluation level has lowered the technique. now there are a lot of force and the Ne waza has very little importance. Huizinga a defensive judo
Throw was only wazari :(
throw was only yko but zviadauri (iliadis) best judoka in the world of his kategori
wazaari
WAZARI..
that could have been a koka >.>
you’re an idiot… koka…
go cry. nice win by a fine judoka.2bad aschwanden beat him, that was a bad match.
they both are my favorite judo players
at first it is clear yuko….not even waza-ari….even though nobody didnt notice that mark huizinga’s judoki isnt big enough for his size….no good move for a big athlete…thats why ilias everytime wins….his behaviour….great athletes play straight…dont try to make a yuko ippon..anyway..
where is now iliadis?Anai kick his .. in moscow. All greek judo is,sorry WAS ilias.WHAT ABOUT NOW,that iliadis is finished.
Yep waza-ari (to big for a yuko)
Ipon
ZVADAOUOUOURI for You you speak like a fool What has the animal you anything about this kid go and sleep man with big mouth do not care what to do now iliadis you look to become a native man and not like you are now!!
yuko or waza-ari
yuko or wazari – the attack was originally motivated by uke. Tori had been fairly passive prior to his uchi mata – which was far from tidy but nice! I’d have given wazari making it an even score and looking for a final takedown. Thank god this wasn’t soccer. The fans would have torched their benches..!
i think it was not a score becouse he is on his ass that should be a koka or something like that , but it’s not IPPON the ref is drank
i’m sure about that koka or wazari not IPPON NOT IPPON!!!!
Ilias Iliadis Isn’t From Greece He is Georgian But He Lives in Greece and Fights With Greece Name. It wasn’t Ippon. It was Waz-ari.
